A three-year-old toddler was seriously injured on Tuesday evening after a vehicle struck him as he crossed a road near his home in the religious city of Elad in central Israel.
Police are searching the area in an attempt to locate the driver of the vehicle who fled the scene. The infant was taken for treatment at the Schneider Hospital.
