Jewish Home members are assembling in an attempt to change the position of the party, which currently supports the expansion law for the Chief Rabbinate electoral body.
Law promoter MK Eliezer Stern (HaTnuah), wants to add dozens of women to the electoral body, including feminist organizations currently promoting religious policy change on marriage and divorce.
