Ya'akov "Jack" Teitel appealed to the High Court of Justice, Tuesday, the two life sentences plus 30 years in prison handed down last month by a district court for his convictions on two counts of killing Arabs and three counts of attempted murder.

The American-born resident of the Samarian (Shomron) community of Shevut Rachel claimed the district court ignored determinations of his mental state and therefore, his responsibility for his actions.
