Me'uchedet Health Fund Strike Monday

Management of the Me'uchedet Health Fund expressed regret, Sunday, over the decision by the HMO's employees to strike on Monday. A statement by Me'uchedet said, "Me'uchedet Director-General Ze'ev Wurmbrand, who took office only last Thursday, regrets the decision by workers' representatives to hurry and strike the fund even though the negotiations with them has been non-stop, and already with his taking office, he invited the representatives of the employees to a meeting."

Wurmbrand instructed management to minimize the damage to the customers via the health system and the call center. He said, "with shared responsibility, the administration and the workers will act as one to rescue the fund from the shakeup to which it has been hurled."
