C'tee OK for Concentration of Wealth Law in Days

Chairman Nissan Slomiansky of the Knesset Finance Committee said, Sunday, that he would work to achieve passage of a law to promote competition and minimize the centralization of wealth.

Speaking at a hearing on the bill, Slomiansky said, "The Finance Committee, under my leadership, intends to put an end to the power of the pyramids in the Israeli economy. Increased concentration in the economy is harmful and it must be reduced in a dramatic way as soon as possible. I will work for committee approval of the tough centralization law in a matter of days."
