PM Netanyahu addressed Port reforms during the Sunday government meeting, "We have already established government companies operatng in the ports of Haifa, Asdod and Eilat, with a private Haifa company as well. Additionally, in Stage 2 we privatized the Eilat port. Stage 3 will be the announcement of of a third private port tender withinng a few months. These reforms have tremendous economic implications, as 90% of Israeli imports and exports go through our ports, and that includes just about every single product in common use by the population."
