The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Friday afternoon released under restrictive conditions the eight detainees in Thursday night's hareidi demonstration in Jerusalem.
30,000 people participated in the demonstration, in which they protested against plans to enlist hareidim into the army. Nine police officers were injured in clashes during the protest. The police said that they intend to indict the suspects.
