The Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria (Shomron) destroyed buildings in the Binyamin-region Jewish outpost communities of Oz Tzion, next to Giv'at Asaf, and Giv'at Egoz in the Talmonim bloc, Sunday evening, according to the Tatzpit news agency.
The Oz Tzion razing of two residential structures occured shortly after 11:30 p.m. Three female youths were detained during the demolition and released afterward. From there, they proceeded to Giv'at Egoz, next to the Jewish community of Neria. En route, a senior Civil Administration official's vehicle blocked a vehicle occupied by four area residents and detained them out of concern they were on their way to oppose further demolitions but released them after they found no grounds for holding them. At Giv'at Egoz, they destroyed the home of Rabbi Meir Goldmintz, the head of Giv'at Egoz's Shiru Lamelech yeshiva, and his family of eight. The home was rebuilt at Passover, following a February 8th demolition. Clashes broke out between residents and Border Police officers after the Border Guards did not allow the residents to document the destruction, but no arrests were made.
