MK Reuven Rivlin voiced his harsh opposition to the Governance Bill, "I belong to the liberal Likud party, and this bill is a disgrace. If you're going to demand 61 MKs for a no-confidence motion, you might as well adjourn the Knesset and re-convene it only if 61 MKs approve. Additoinally, the more parties in the Knesset, the more national representation and unity there is. The Founding Fathers of the state deliberately made it relatively easy to enter the Knesset by setting a low threshold to promote this maximum national representation."
