Two Fined for Bringing Uninspected Eggs from Yesha

The Petach Tikva Magistrates Court fined a resident of the western Samarian (Shomron) city of Ariel and a resident of Netanya, north of Tel Aviv, a total of 16,000 shekels in fines, Monday, for bringing eggs from Judea and Samaria into pre-1967 Israel without inspection and other processing.

The two were convicted of committing an act that was likely to spread disease, use of a forged document, illegal marketing of eggs, transporting eggs for human consumption which are not stamped and for which there is no packing slip, and importing animal products without a permit.
