Outpost Destruction a Case of Incredible Insensitivity

The Samarian (Shomron) Jewish community of Yitzhar, the home of terror victim Evyatar Borovsky, said, Friday morning, that the pre-dawn destruction of the outpost erected in his memory by Israeli security forces, "before Evyatar's blood has dried, constitutes incredible insensitivity by the security forces. If they don't even let Evyatar's neighbors engage in a positive act of settlement, it's no wonder that the anger and bitterness over the murder of a Jew may push people to take other forms of protest steps."

A statement by the community continued, "The conduct of the territorial command of the IDF and the police, who chose to destroy Mitzpe Evyatar like thieves in the night, is a burning insult and mortal wound to the memory of Evyatar and the community of Yitzhar. We call on the public to come and help re-erect the Mitzpe."
