Fines for Drugs Without Directions in Arabic or Russian

The Knesset approved, Monday, the second and third readings of legislation that will subject pharmaceutical companies to fines ranging from 30,000 to 60,000 shekels if they don't include Arabic and Russian documentation on a drug and medical chemical preparation.

Health Minister Yael German said revenue from the fines will be used to open a ministry hotline and provide information in those languages to the public.
