Weather: Hot Despite Coastal Cooling


Sharav extreme heat and dryness is forecast to continue in most parts of the country, accompanied by a fire alert through Wednesday. Strong northerly winds are expected along the Mediterranean coast in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, bringing temperatures down slightly in the coastal plain. Additional slight cooling is expected on Wednesday in the coastal and lower inland areas. There's a chance of overnight fog in the coastal plain and the northern Negev Wednesday and Thursday evening, with additional cooling on Thursday bringing temperatures down to normal along the coast, but it will remain warmer and dryer than normal elsewhere through Friday.
