The Knesset Interior Committee is scheduled to discuss, Monday, making permanent a temporary law that allows police to empty the contents of a container of alcohol if found in the possession of a minor.
The police and the Authority for Fighting Alcohol and Drug Abuse will present figures showing an increase in police-initiated activity and a significant reduction in incidents to which police have to respond.
