Former Mossad Chief: No Immediate Threat to Israel

Former director Meir Dagan of the Mossad intelligence agency said, Sunday, that Syria does not constitute a security threat for Israel. Addressing the annual conference of the Jerusalem Post in New York, Dagan said the Syrians are busy with internal matters. He said Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad convinced United States President Barack Obama that he is a modern leader interested in peace but, in fact, reinforced terror groups all the time. He said American eyes were only opened by the civil war and the terrible carnage.
