During the Knesset session marking the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, MK Reuven Rivlin said, "Turkey is our ally. We may have some current strategic differences of opinion, but the Knesset must not ignore the genocide of the Armenian people."
"With our own history of attempted genocide, and facing constant brazen Holocaust denial from our enemies, I feel we must acknowledge this catastrophic historic fact of the Armenian genocide," added Rivlin.
