An apparent car bomb exploded, Tuesday morning, outside the French embassy in Tripoli, wounding two French guards. The blast destroyed the embassy's reception area and parts of neighboring buildings.
It was the first such attack in the capital since the revolution that overthrew dictator Muammar Qaddafi. French leaders condemned the attack and called on Libyan officials to act swiftly in response.
