Security Cameras to Protect Mosques against Price Tag

The Interior Ministry will equip mosques and monasteries across the country will security cameras to protect them against "price tag" vandalism. The cost of the program is estimated at 15 million shekels.

Price tag vandalism has been carried out against mosques and other Arab targets, leftist targets and monasteries in response to actions or threats against Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron). The vandalism is accompanied by the spray-painting of "tag mechir," the Hebrew words for "price tag" at the scene.
