Appeal Against Ashdod Port Sanctions

The Manufacturers' Association filed a petition in the National Labor Court, Sunday, against sanctions by routers at the port of Ashdod. The association named the Histadrut Labor Federation, the Ashdod Port Company and the state as defendants.

The association said, in the petition, "Sanctions in the port make it difficult for members of the Israel Manufacturer's Association and cause much serious damage. It's not the first time the Manufacturer's Association is petitioning the honored court to stop this serious and intolerable conduct, which is causing such serious direct and indirect damage to its members every time [there are sanctions]."
