Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Eli Ben-Dahan paid a visit to the family of the late Rabbi Yaakov Yosef, who passed away after a battle with cancer. "Rabbi Yosef, may his memory be blessed, was very knowledgeable in Torah law and made that knowledge available to anyone who wanted to ask him a question," Deputy Minister Ben-Dahan stated. "He always answered pleasantly and confidently," he added. He also praised Rabbi Yosef's "uncompromising commitment to Israel." Rabbi Yosef's personal approach was "simple and accessible to any person," Ben-Dahan said.
