Jerusalem Portion of Flyover Cancelled by Weather

The Air Force started its nationwide Independence Day flyover of fighter and transport planes and helicopters, Tuesday morning. It is scheduled to continue until l:00 p.m. Because of the rainy and windy conditions, the Jerusalem portion of the flyover was cancelled.

The circuit, which includes aerobatic activity, started over Be'er Sheva' and included other southern locales, and was scheduled to go north to Haifa before flying south over the Mediterranean coast and completing the circle over the skies of Ofakim and the Air Force museum.
