Women in Green for Israel's Tomorrow and other activists for Jewish Shdema will launch their Independence Day observances Monday evening at 10:00, "Singing Independence" at the former Israel Defense Forces base, next to the Judean Jewish community of Mizmoria. Musicians Dudu Elharar and Yuli Kim will lead the audience in singing the songs of Naomi Shemer, following introductory remarks by Chairman Davidi Perl of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan who serves as Deputy Minister of Religious Services, and Knesset members Orit Struk and Shuli Moalem-Refaeli.
The site is accessible by private vehicles. Transportation is available by pre-registration from Jerusalem, Kiryat Arba'-Hevron, the Gush Etzion Junction and Teko'a Nokdim.
