The Bituach Leumi National Insurance Institute announced, Thursday, that there will be two observances on Memorial Day to honor the memory of victims of terror. The first one is "Poems in Their Memory", Sunday evening at 8:00 in the Knesset Plaza. Among the 2,500 invited to attend are bereaved families and those who take care of them, as well as government and military representatives. In addition to the poems, video clips will be shown and there will be performances by military musicians and other artists.
The official government memorial observance is scheduled for Monday afternoon at 1:00 next to the Terror Victim Memorial at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Attending will be Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, President Shim'on Peres, Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and Supreme Court President Asher Grunis.
