Security School Thanks Hackers for "Training Exercise"

The head of the See Security - Information Security & Cyber Warfare College has thanked the "Anonymous OpIsrael" cyber attacks for the free practice lessons. College manager Avi Weissman told Arutz Sheva news on Wednesday that the attempt to “erase Israel from the Internet” was for them nothing more then "a successful training exercise." Weissman said his students set up a special operations room and learned how to successfully deflect attempts to break into internet accounts.

A loosely organized group called Anonymous vowed to “erase Israel from the Internet” in a coordinated attack called OpIsrael on April 7, but very few Israeli websites were actually affected.

See Security is a college located in Israel and a knowledge base training systems manufacturer specializing in information security and cyber warfare. The college was established in 2002 and offers certification in Information Security Systems, InfoSec Systems Administration and other Accreditation programs.
