Shlomo Ben-Eliyahu Expected Back at Housing Ministry

Arutz Sheva has learned that Attorney Shlomo Ben-Eliyahu - the oldest son of former chief rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu of blessed memory - is expected to be appointed, soon, as director-general of the Housing and Construction Ministry. He has headed the Housing Office and held similar positions in the Israel Lands Administration (ILA) and the Settlement Department of the Jewish Agency.

Ben-Eliyahu has served on the boards of a number of bodies, including the ILA  and the Ports and Railways Authority, and has chaired a number of government committees. In 2012, he was named acting director of the Moriah Company for the development of Jerusalem.
