100 Contract Laborers Hired Outright by Israel Railways

It was announced, Sunday, that the management of Israel Railways has absorbed about 100 cashiers who had been employed as contract laborers through personnel agencies.

The decision to make the cashiers full-fledged employees of the railroad was part of an agreement between management, the worker's committee and the Histadrut Labor Federation.
