The average monthly salary for January was 9,159 shekels ($2,475), according to figures released, Sunday, by the Central Bureau of Statistics. The wage represented a decline of nine tenths of a percent from December, computed on an annual basis.
The bureau said the number of jobs went up .6 percent in January, computed on an annual basis.
