Starting Friday: Chadash Products Available

Kosher supervision officials informed Arutz Sheva, Thursday evening, that those who are strict about not eating products made with flour milled before Passover will find products made with flour milled after the holiday (Chadash or Chodosh - Hebrew for new) on bakery shelves on Friday, except in the case of special breads baked by the Angel and Berman bakeries of Jerusalem.

New flour and products made from it can be identified by Gregorian production date (April 1st or later) or production code. The production code starts with 3 for 2013 followed by three other digits representing the day in 2013. April 1st was the 91st day of 2013, so any code of 3091 or higher contains new flour.
