Member of Knesset Eitan Cabel called, Thursday, for an examination of the running of the party during the last election. Channel 10 Television quoted the former secretary-general of the party as telling a party conference, "We went through a difficult election and we must examine the failure."
About a month ago, Cabel said he was considering contesting Chairwoman Shelly Yechimovich for the party leadership.
