Anat Kam copied over 2,000 classified IDF documents between 2005-2007 and transferred them to Haaretz. The paper ran a series of articles based on the information, and Kam is serving a 3.5-year sentence for espionage since November 2011.

Now Kam is suing Haaretz for 2.6 million NIS including legal fees she incurred, accusing them of compromising her confidentiality and negligently allowing her identity to be discovered by the authorities.
