Bennett: We Don't Lower Our Head for Anyone

Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett recalled his post-army trip to Morocco during remarks at a Mimouna celebration by members of the Moroccan Jewish community in the western Negev city of Netivot, Monday evening.

Bennett noted, "In order not to stand out after they left the synagogue, they would take off their yarmulkes (kipot, skull caps) and walk home quietly, and we in the state of Israel no longer take off our kipot and don't lower our head for anyone, not for Turks, not for Egyptians and this is so that we will never have to bow our heads."
