Report: Delegation to Turkey to Discuss Marmara Money

An Israeli delegation is expected in Ankara, next week, to coordinate thecompensation that Israel will pay to relatives of the nine people killed on the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara in May 2010, after they attacked and abducted Israeli commandos who eventually diverted it from its attempt to break the Gaza naval blockade, according to Turkish media. The Turkish government is demanding $10 million,  slightly more than $1 million for each of those killed.

Israel is offering $100,0000. The government is also demanding that the money be paid only to the families of the victims so that it does not end up in the hands of anti-Israeli organizations.
