Bennett Bashes Benefits in Boat Brawl

Minister of Economy and Trade, Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home Party) bashed the idea of Israel giving monetary benefits to those in the Turkish flotilla incident of 2010. The group of boats attempted to invade Israeli territorial waters. Israeli sailors boarded the first yacht, the Mavi Marmara and were forced to use lethal force after being attacked by hired militants from the Turkish IHH group.
"IDF soldiers, we are always with you," declared Bennett on his Facebook page. The statement came following Prime Minster Benyamin Netanyahu's official apology to Turkey. Regarding Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Bennett said that he should know Israel is capable of preventing terrorism and cross border attacks. He added that he was proud that IDF soldiers continue to defend the Israeli public.
