Deadline for Eating Chametz 9:12

The start of the prohibition of eating chametz (foods with leavening) for the Pesach (Passover) festival of unleavened bread is at 9:12, Monday morning in Israel. The burning of known leavened products in one's possession must be done by 10:28.

The times are earlier than in recent years because Israel is still in Winter (Standard) Time. The country goes to Summer (Daylight Savings) Time Friday morning, when clocks move from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
