President Barack Obama of the United States said Friday morning, that the memory of those killed in the Holocaust will never be forgotten. Speaking following an observance at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, he noted it was his second visit there but said his heart would even be broken on the 1,000th visit.

He added, "The state of Israel doesn't exist because of the Holocaust, but due to the state of Israel, the Holocaust will never happen again."
