United States President Barack Obama spoke out, Thursday afternoon, against what he called "settler violence" against Palestinian Authority (PA) Arabs. He also decried restrictions on Arab movement, obstruction to farming and displacement in Judea and Samaria. Speaking to a student audience at Jerusalem's International Convention Center, he said that occupation and expulsion are not the answer.
Obama said that Israel cannot negotiate with people who are dedicated to its destruction. He also said that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad are partners for peace.
