18 Years for Gaza Terrorist on Attempted Murder

The Be’er Sheva District Court sentence Khaled Silawi of Gaza to 18 years imprisonment for terrorist activity, attempted murder and espionage.

In 2002, Silawi was drafted by Hamas and began live fire training. Twice he was involved in rocket fire attempts against the city of Sderot, and was apprehended by the IDF after crossing the border for military reconnaissance against Israel.
