Finance Minister Yair Lapid has requested to postpone the Tuesday Knesset session on the biannual 2013-1024 budget, requiring more time to study the subject. Lapid said he is considering reconsidering the biannual budget option.
Former Deputy Finance Minister Yitzchak Cohen explains, “The 2013 budget can be approved immediately, followed by early preparations for the 2014 budget.”
Lapid will meet Israel Bank Governor Stanley Fischer for a routine update on the economy. (News1)
