The Kedumim local council opened its emergency headquarters, Monday morning, following the shooting at the Samarian (Shomron) Jewish community's hitchhiking stop, which resulted in light wounds in the leg to a 71-year-old man. Authorities are searching for the occupants of a white Hyundai Gaetz believed to be involved in the attack.
Council Chairman Hananel Dorani said, after the shooting, "In light of recent events, I asked the [local] division commander [of the Israel Defense Forces] to increase the security presence on the highways of Samaria and to act more aggressively against the terrorists."
