Highway 60 between Jerusalem will be closed at times on Thursday for United States President Barack Obama's visit to Ramallah. The affected Binyamin-region Jewish communities are: Adam, Beit-El, Cochav Ya'akov-Tel Tzion, Migron, Pesagot and Sha'ar Binyamin. Other communities will have the alternative of the Mercaz Route or the Alon Route.
Access to Route 60 and the spur to Ramallah will be blocked between 8:15 and 9:30 a.m. while the Obama party is en route to Ramallah. The highway will then be free until 3:00 p.m. The barriers will go up again at 3:15 and remain until 4:30 p.m.
