A source in the Egyptian army said, Sunday evening, that military engineers succeeded in shutting down more than 60 tunnels used for smuggling between the Sinai Peninsula and Hamas-controlled Gaza.
The source told a local newspaper that dozens of the tunnels were flooded with water and will not be usable again.
