Report: Hamas Cut Off Ties with Sinai Bedouin

The Hamas leadership in Gaza has cut off its ties with the Bedouin tribes in Sinai, which had been responsible for smuggling weapons from Libya into Gaza, the French weekly Le Nouvel Observateur reported on Sunday.

According to the report, Hamas made the decision after it refused to accept 28 long-range missiles that were smuggled from Libya to Gaza. Hamas refused the delivery because an expert on its behalf determined that Israeli-made spying and surveillance devices were hidden in the missiles.
