The staff at the Western Wall have begun preparing the compound for the Pesach holiday and are thorough cleaning it.

As part of the preparation for the holiday, the Western Wall plaza was cleaned from any chametz, the stones were examined by an engineer to make sure that will not endanger the worshipers, and objects that were placed between the stones by birds were removed. The notes that are being placed between the stones throughout the year were also taken out and were buried.
