Former MK Marina Solodkin, who passed away suddenly on Saturday, was active in working for Jonathan Pollard’s release, MK Uri Ariel (Bayit Yehudi) said Sunday.
“I was sorry to hear about her passing,” he said. “Marina was a real and active partner during her years in Knesset it the many attempts to free our brother, Jonathan Pollard. As someone who lived under the Soviet regime, she knew what it means to not be a free man.”
“I’m sorry she will not see his release, which G-d willing will be very soon,” he added.
