Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Fatah terrorist movement, is calling to take rival group Hamas off the European Union’s list of terrorist groups.
In an interview with Russia Al-Youm, Abbas said there is now no difference between his policy and that of Hamas after the latter group agreed to pause its rocket attacks on Israel and to support “non-violent popular resistance.” Hamas no longer fires rockets at Israel, Abbas argued.
Hamas still openly supports Israel’s destruction. Both Hamas and Fatah continue to laud terrorists who died while murdering Israeli civilians as “martyrs.”
