A celebration was held in the Samaria (Shomron) town of Emmanuel late last week as building resumed in the city after a three-year freeze. Construction has started on a new neighborhood to be called Nofei Shomron.

A celebration inaugurating the new project drew both political and spiritual leaders from the region, including former Yesha Council chairman Danny Dayan, MK Nissim Zev and Rabbi Simcha Hacohen Kook.
