The Director General of the Ministry of Health, Professor Ronnie Gamzu, ordered the creation an investigation team following the death of a runner in Friday's marathon in Tel Aviv.
"The team is tasked with finding out how sporting events are given proper authorization, and to set standards for the approval of events, in reference to extreme circumstances in the context of climate conditions," Gamzu wrote.
