MK Silvan Shalom, the Minister for Development of the Negev and Galilee, expressed in private conversations that he is worried about his position and influence in the next government, Channel 10 reported.

 "If I do not have any influence in the next government, I will not be in the government," Shalom was reported as saying. In the previous government Shalom was a member of the security department and was Deputy Prime Minister.
