Senior NATO officials reported that a NATO soldier and another soldier were killed in a helicopter crash in southern Afghanistan on Saturday.

 "There was no enemy activity in the area when the helicopter crashed," said NATO Captain Luca Karniel, adding that the circumstances surrounding the crash will be investigated.
