The Ministry of Agriculture reported on Friday afternoon that it was successful in eliminate the largest swarm of locusts that has entered southern Israel so far, in the Shivta ruins in the Negev Desert.
The spraying to eliminate the locusts was conducted by six planes, and the tracking of swarms continues, said the Ministry.
